UMM Pres. Jeff Thornton has about 100 tickets to get rid of by Saturday. It is not too late if your church would like to attend the McKendree University Basketball game this Saturday, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5 a piece. At intermission we would like a youth to represent your church by shooting a free-throw. Come celebrate United Methodist Day at McKendree. Call Jeff on his cell phone,  618-530-4447 if you need tickets!

Please keep Rev. Rose Booker-Jones in your prayers. She is the Pastor of Trinity East St. Louis Church in the Mississippi River District.

She had emergency surgery Oct 29th,  went home and was doing pretty well, when she had to return to the hospital due to an infection. Rose had surgery once more and she is doing better. Please pray that the Doctors have gotten all the infection and that she can now start to heal. Thank God this happened now, before she went to Liberia.
